Imua
Imua
Imua The Band was born out of a couple of rusty old chairs in a garage in Pālolo Valley and the love of music. Ever since “small kid time,” Dave and Baba found joy in music and how happy it made them feel and they wanted to share that joy with everyone. Imua’s fun catchy “backyard style” music has entertained listeners for over 25 years. Each of their 5 albums of mostly original songs share a heart of simplicity and appreciation for life’s treasures. Imua’s truest satisfaction is making music and sharing it with people all over the world. So do yourself a favor and kick back, relax, and let that fun “backyard” style music of Imua put a smile on your face, and a little boogie in your bottom. “1, 2, 3, Imua!”
The Camarillo Brothers
The Camarillo Brothers
Born and raised in Kihei, Maui, brothers Kamaka & Kala’e Camarillo come from a family of musicians and music educators. Their mother, Cora, is the sister of multi Nā Hōkū Hanohano award winner, Lehua Kalima of Nā Leo Pilimehana. Their father, Rama, is well known around Maui for starting the Kalama Intermediate ‘Ukulele Band. Today, they both live on the island of O’ahu and have followed in their father’s footsteps by becoming music teachers themselves (Kamaka at Kaiser High and Kala’e at Kapālama Elementary). Kamaka broke out into the music scene in 2018 after the release of his debut single, “E Pi’i Mai,” with Kāwika Aspili. The song took the islands by storm and led to Kamaka being nominated at the 2019 Island Music Awards for Breakout Artist of the Year, and both Hawaiian Single and Music Video of the Year at the 2019 Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards. The following year, his debut album, “S.O.U.L. Songs of Unexpected Life,” received a Hōkū for R&B Album of the Year and a nomination for Most Promising Artist. Kala’e entered the music scene in 2009 when he and his cousin, Dane Lum Ho, won Tom Moffat’s state wide Band Champ competition. They were awarded with the opportunity to open up for two major acts: The Stylistics and America. In 2016, Kala’e released his first album, “Working Man,” which garnered him a nomination for Most Promising Artist. In 2020, his second album, “Feel at Home,” received a Nā Hōkū Hanohano award for Contemporary Acoustic Album of the Year and a nomination for Male Vocalist. Today, Kala’e can be found performing alongside legendary Hawaiian music artist, Robi Kahakalau.

Crossing Rain
Crossing Rain
“HUMBLE ARTISTS FROM HAWAII CHASING THEIR DREAM”Living their dreams, Crossing Rain, or “XR” to their fans, has started their journey of bringing their collective talent of singing, dancing, rapping, and entertaining to the world. Their wish is to inspire, give hope, and bring the Aloha Spirit to those who sit in darkness and need more positivity in their lives. XR debuted at the historic Hawaii Theatre on November 20, 2021. Since then, they have been rising with popularity by performing at local schools, shopping malls and businesses, on what they call “The Message” Tour – bringing inspiration to students who are coming out from the pandemic. They kicked off their Nice to Meet You! Tour in Honolulu with a concert at the Blaisdell Concert Hall in February 2022. They rocked West Hollywood’s ROXY Theatre in Los Angeles in August 2022. Then, entertained an almost sold out crowd at The Palace Theater in Hilo in September 2022. Most recent, XR held a beautiful Winter Concert at McKinley High School Auditorium. And we hope for more from XR in 2023, as they continue to spread their message of Aloha to the world. The world could definitely use more positivity, and whom better to represent Hawaii, than the 2022 Na Hoku Hanohano, Favorite Entertainers of the Year, Crossing Rain – our Ambassadors of Aloha!
